I think he was hoping there’d be something nice to bring home from the veg patch, but it’s just a bit early for pickings. He checked out the little green strawberries.. and then the flowers, but no pods, on the peas and turned wistfully to the wildflowers. They’re all a lot taller than him but he reached up and picked one to take home for his best friend.
