..and this Spring we have had two new Gotz Babies in the space of two weeks 🙂
From left to right we are ..
Baby Simon, Baby Meike (who joined us a few weeks ago) and Baby Lars
and our two big sisters are (left) Stella and Yvette so now we are the Fabulous Five . We know there are still a few members of our family missing so we are looking out for them wherever we go.
But then, just as we were starting to settle and get to know each other, another little one came to live with us and she was a bit younger but she can already stand up and walk ! She’s not like any of us.
She says her name is Lisa and her Mum/maker is Sieglinde Frieske who makes dolls for some nice people called Schildkrot. She’s tiny; only 28cm tall, has real hair (!) and hand-blown, glass eyes. She looks ok now so maybe that wasn’t as painful as it sounds.
She arrived all ready for an English Spring, with a raincoat and an umbrella..
but then she noticed the other little ones were enjoying the sunshine and didn’t have raincoats OR umbrellas so she took hers off and set them down.
She has very nice manners. When she noticed that both Simon and Lars had sun-hats but Meike didn’t, she offered to make some room under her umbrella – now re-purposed as a sun-shade – for Meike.
Will you come and sit with me Meike?
We’ll leave them there for now, getting along very well in their own secret sun-hideaway, while the boys enjoy playing with their toes, the ways boys do.
Welcome to the family Lisa, Simon and Lars ❤
Lovely post. The Gotz babies are so precious with their sweet expressions and wonderful outfits. Lisa is a beautiful girl and so sweet to share her umbrella. xxx

Thanks Ginger, she’s very cute. She has a velvettty body with a wire armature inside so she bends to sit x

I had and loved those three later little Gotz babies, as well as the baby Stine, who is just as cute in her sweet little blue floral dress, hat and pantaloons.
Pretty English country garden background. (I have that one too, in fact that one was my very first.)
Stella and Yvette are another two very popular pale skinned ‘Modern’ dolls and Wibke with her blonde plaits/braids and blue pinafore goes well with this group.
